Purchasing a firearm (or anything else, for that matter) should be a pleasant and fun experience. Here at Savage Trading Company we want to help make your purchase as pleasant as possible. To that end we offer some additional services for our customers.

Our Services

Special Orders
If we don’t have something in stock that you are looking for, we can special order items. For special orders, we require 1/3 down (of total price with tax included) and the balance upon receipt of goods. Inquire regarding availability and delivery times.

Layaway
Our layaway plan is designed to give customers an interest free way to finance their purchases. We offer a 90 day layaway with 0% interest (same as cash), no payment schedule (just 90 days to pay it off). We require 1/3 down (of total price with tax included) for layaway purchases.

FFL Transfer Service
Savage Trading Company offers FFL transfers as a courtesy service. If you purchase a gun online or need a gun shipped to or from a registered FFL dealer in the Oklahoma City metro area, we can help.

You must contact Savage Trading Company prior to shipping a firearm on order to make arrangements. Before we can accept a transfer or send a transfer there are a few things we need: your contact information; the name and other contact information of the FFL dealer your firearm is being shipped to or from; the order details pertaining to the type of weapon, manufacturer, serial number; order numbers and any other pertinent information.

Our fee structure is as follows.

• Transfer of new firearms: 15% of the gun’s value or $50 minimum.
• Transfer of pre-owned firearms: $35 flat fee.

Gunsmithing Service
We offer a full range of gunsmithing services, whether you need simple repairs, restoration or full customization. Simply bring your firearm by the shop, let us know what you want done and fill out some paperwork. Simple. The turn-around time is generally 3-4 weeks though, sometimes, it can take even longer during extremely busy periods.

Consignment Sales Service
We offer consignment sales services for those looking to sell a firearm. The value of your firearms will be assessed and an ‘asking price’ and a ‘no lower than’ price will be determined and agreed upon. Your firearms are put out on display and we do our best to sell them for you. We earn a 15% commission on consignment sales and there is a minimum consignment fee of $25 that is charged if you change your mind and remove your gun from consignment. There are no guarantees that your gun will sell— often, selling a pre-owned gun is a matter of the right gun being present at the right time for the right customer. However, we put every effort into selling your firearms on consignment, just the same as we put in selling our new stock. We want your firearms to sell, we want to make our customers happy!
